Geeked Week 2024 marked a major evolution in Netflix’s annual celebration of genre storytelling—an event designed to showcase upcoming titles, drop exclusive content, and connect fans with the creators behind their favorite shows and films. This year’s campaign culminated in the first-ever in-person showcase in Atlanta, alongside a global livestream that reached millions of fans across platforms. To capture the energy of this moment, we introduced a bold new identity built around an expressive ink-splatter system—an homage to the comic book as the origin point of genre storytelling. The treatment symbolized the raw, transformative, and often unpredictable nature of creativity, connecting fans and creators through a shared spirit of imagination. High-contrast black-and-white visuals gave the system a dynamic presence across digital and physical touchpoints, while the ink splatter motif anchored everything from motion graphics to social content to in-venue visuals. This campaign elevated Geeked Week into more than a promotional moment—it became a living, global celebration of fan-driven storytelling.
